Well yesterday was the day… Eli had his first haircut! I was asked a few times when I would cut his hair, my response was always “not until he at least turns one.” Well that day came and went in November and I still hadn’t taken him yet. His hair had gotten so long, it was getting to the point where people would say what a cute little girl he was… even if he was in boy clothes lol! While browsing living social I found a deal for a half price kids haircut at headhunters salon so we bought it and took him yesterday.
Let me just say that at first it was, well… interesting. I sat down in the chair and he sat on my lap because we all know one year olds don’t sit still. As soon as I sat him down and he took one look around he started crying. Pretty much for the first part of his haircut it consisted of him wiggling and crying off and on until we had the brilliant idea of giving him one of his animal cookies. Magic! He still fussed a little but then would get distracted by the cookie or by us showing him pictures on the phone, it all worked out in the end. Cindy who cut his hair did such a great job! Now he looks like such a big boy, I love that sweet baby of mine!
