My name is Deanna Layman. My husband and I were blessed in November 2010 with the birth of our first child, Eli. Parenthood is an amazing journey. Each day has its different challenges but no matter the challenge it is the most rewarding thing I could ever do. God has impressed it upon my heart to start this blog for Christian mothers. The daily life of a mom is chaotic, busy and the job is never done. Sometimes it can be hard to take time for ourselves and to take time to spend alone with God. After having my son I have learned this firsthand. God has called me to start this blog to inspire, encourage and uplift Christian mothers and give them the ability to take a few short minutes to spend time reconnecting with God. Basically I am a God follower, wife, mom, friend and writer.
