I saw this video the other day and wanted to share it with everyone. Since the song Redeemer came out by Sanctus Real I have absolutely loved it, it will be stuck in my head forever after hearing it on the radio. This video is the band telling each of their stories and what the song means to them. I love the line in the song where it says “I don’t have every answer in life, but I’m trusting You one day at a time.” God provides us with what we need to make it each day, He provides the miracles we need and that is amazing!

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” Psalm 127:3 (NIV)

“I knew when I met you an adventure was going to happen…” A.A. Milne

In a matter of one day things became much more exciting at our house. Eli learned to pull himself up! Today he has walked along the coffee table while holding on! They seriously grow up so fast! Not only is he pulling himself up and walking along the coffee table, but he has two more teeth coming in, he feeds himself food and we lowered his crib. So much so fast, at least it feels that way! I told Chase last night that his room doesn’t feel like a baby room anymore, it feels like a toddler room now. He is getting big so quickly! I always heard that when it comes to your children growing up it feels like it happens within the blink of an eye. Only now do I realize just how true that statement is. I am so happy and excited that he is learning to do all these new things but I am just not ready for him to grow up. I’m sure other moms know how I feel. All I can really do is just take each day and cherish each moment I have with him, at each new stage and each new milestone he comes to. Every day is a blessing and every child is a blessing. I am thankful that I get to spend my days with the most wonderful blessing!

“Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.” Psalm 96:9 (NIV)

“Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.” Psalm 105:2 (NIV)

Do you worship every day? What is worship to you? Does it have to be singing a song only or is it more than that? I absolutely love when it is time to sing at church or when I am in the car listening to Air One. I may not stay on key all the time, but I start singing with all my heart and God loves it any way! That certainly is a comforting thought for me… worship is more than the songs that we sing and the notes, harmonies and beautiful sounds that we make. It is our heart. The attitude of worship, recognizing who God is and being in awe of His amazing glory. That means that we do not only have to sing songs. We can be worshipping God with each breath that we take, through prayer, by being in awe of His power when we see a stunning sunset, we can have the heart of worship through out our entire day. A few nights ago I was reading about the creation. I have read this story many times, but this time I read deeper and thought about how detailed everything that He created is. A moment of awe, worshipping His amazing power. Like I said I love singing to Him, I am just not the most confident person when I sing because I can hear when I am off tune. But thankfully it is so much more than that. As long as I am not focusing on the way I think I should sound and judging my voice to the person next to me then my voice is completely beautiful to the One who I am singing to. His glory is all around us! We can sing, pray or be still and worship Him.
